Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles in the way he's known in the world of pop music, is a British singing and composing. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. The son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born February 1st, 1994 at Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive, and with his three classmates, created a band band called White Eskimo. After winning the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to a stellar performance, the band also took part in the 2010 Battle of Bands. Although he has always shown interest in music He also wished to become a lawyer or physiotherapist. He was employed in a local bakery part-time in order to provide for his family. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. This was the reason the band split up. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part a future group called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to create the group in 2010. During the competition the band performed songs like My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group were among the hopefuls to be the winner. They were however in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive any cash prize. However, Cowell made a deal worth 2 million pounds for One Direction in order for the group to join Syco Records.
