Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, born in Wellington,) is a Canadian actor from Canada. She was born in Winnipeg and was raised in Wellington Paquin began her acting debut portraying Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at the age of 11, which makes her the second youngest winner of the award in Oscar history. Anna Paquin full name Anna Helene Paquin was born on July 24, 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian-born New Zealand actor who won the Academy Award as a youngster as Best Supporting Actress acting as the bright and interesting child of Holly Hunter's leading role in The Piano. After responding to a call to auditions open at the age of nine and having no acting experience before that, she won Flora McGrath's role. Flora is the child of a Scottish musician who was blind. The couple relocated into New Zealand during the middle of the nineteenth century in an effort to get married. In her teens her family relocated to the United States. Paquin was Jane Eyre's title character as a teen in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (2000) as well as the lead role in Fly Away Home (2000). Paquin played Frankie Addams, a character from Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding in 1997. In Steven Spielberg's Amistad in 1997 her character was the queen of Spain in a lesser part. She played teenage girls in of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) and played in the role of character of the polexia Aphrodisa character in Almost Famous (2000).
