Lisa Edelstein was an American actress, best known for her role as the main character of Fox's House medical series. She was raised in Wayne where she was a part of a traditional Jewish tradition. At the age of 18, she moved in New York City to study at Tisch School of the Arts. She soon became part of New York's club scene and was soon getting headlines. The press also noticed her. Her experiences as well as her celebrity to create and write the musical called Positive Me, and she also was a part of. She landed her first job on MTV as host of Awake on The Wild Side shortly after. After it was taken off show, she started appearing in TV and films, initially in short roles and gradually established herself as an actor.
