Kari Sam Wuhrer, born on April 28, 1968, is an American singer and actress. Wuhrer started her career when she was in her teens. Her most well-known role is for her character Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders, as well as in the role of her character, Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror-comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised in Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble, who worked as a pay clerk and German American Andrew Wuhrer. Her family has given her three brothers.
